Here's when Chesterfield Pomegranate Theatre will reopen and what you can watch

Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre will reopen its doors on Friday, July 24, for a popular programme of films.

The theatre’s big-screen series kicks off with Military Wives on the night of the reopening. Trolls World Tour will be screened on the afternoon of Saturday, July 25 and Bohemian Rhapsody that evening.

Disney’s The Beauty and the Beast will be shown on the afternoon of Sunday, July 26 and Emma that afternoon.

New attractions include Finding Sarah on July 31 and August 4 and the Disney/Pixar movie Onward on August 2.

Multi award-winning favourites such as The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia and Dunkirk will be screened during the first weekend in August.

The Pomegranate will have socially distanced seating with unoccupied seats between different groups of customers.

Hand sanitiser will be available for all to use and the auditorium cleaned after each film show.

No announcement has yet been made about when live shows will return to the Pomegranate and its sister venue The Winding Wheel.
