Mitch Benn (pictured) will be presenting his new show Don’t Fear The Reaper – a slightly morbid title but then it’s been a morbid year for the man dubbed ‘the country’s leading musical satirist because he’s turned 46 and he feels that’s over the hill by anyone’s standards.

Add to that his personal life is in turmoil and his childhood heroes are dropping like flies.

At times like these, a man feels the Reaper creeping up on him.

But is death anything to fear? And is it really the end (well, yes, but not yet he hopes).

Mitch confronts his – and your – mortality with hilarious and tuneful consequences.

Join him for an hour of your life you’re not getting back.

Joining Mitch on the Belper bill will be character comedian Milo McCabe with his show The Unflappable Troy Hawke.

Home-schooled by an overly nostalgic mother, Troy confronts the 21st century as if waking from a 1930s time capsule – with insightful and hilarious consequences.

Alongside TV appearances on Blue Go Mad in Ibiza (ITV2), Live at the Electric (BBC Three) and Benidorm (ITV1), Milo is an established character comedian with several successful Edinburgh runs under his belt.

Twice nominated for Best Show at The Amused Moose Laughter awards and listed as one of GQ magazine’s Top 10 shows of the Fringe, he performs around the UK and internationally on the stand-up scene.

The show takes place on Thursday, July 7, at 8pm and entry is £7. Tickets can also be reserved in advance by on 07804 563371 or [email protected]
