Raise a glass for book talk at Cromford Mills
Join Ian for an evening of whisky, wit and wisdom.
Explore lost, luxurious, living and legendary whiskies – extraordinarily hard to find, absurdly expensive, ridiculously rare and even a few household names, all with their own unique stories. The talk will be accompanied by several whisky tastings. Ian will also be signing copies of his books following the talk.
Ian Buxton has been marketing director of a world-famous single malt, consultant to more distilleries than most folks have had drams, built several award winning visitor centres, written a variety of articles and books, and – apparently without noticing – bought a derelict distillery.

Another Sunday night shift. The smell of bread baking. The industrial thump, thump, thump of the machines that never stop. The ovens are cranked up to full blast, the factory is humming, and everyone wants to be somewhere else.
But this shift is going to be different.
Because when a crisis hits the factory, the men have more to lose than just their wages...
From the writer of the international hit One Man, Two Guv’ nors, Richard Bean’s
