Dirty Dusting at the Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield.

They laughed so loud at Dirty Dusting that some of the dialogue was drowned out.

Close on a sell-out crowd packed the theatre last week to see Benidorm star Chrissy Rock brandishing a feather duster as redundancy-threatened cleaner Elsie who sets up a saucy sideline.

Leah Bell starred as Gladys, unlikely phone sex operator who barked at clients and was clueless about crotchless knickers.

Dolores Porretta as cleaner colleague Olive added a fitting reference to European employment laws on a day of victory for Brexit activists.

Lee Brannigan as mean boss who got his come-uppance, stripped to red satin boxers and the women emerged in outfits worthy of an Ann Summers shop for an eye-popping finale.

In a crowd-pleasing move, the cast posed for photos on stage and filmed the audience for Facebook.
