Vote-winning comedy

Players are hoping to strike it lucky with a Northern comedy.

Old Tupton’s Chapel Players are putting the finishing touches to their autumn production which will be shown to the public from November 17 to 21.

They have chosen the farce Strike Happy by Duncan Greenwood which is full of lively and unpredictable characters, helterskelter action with plenty of laughs.

The comedy revolves around a union member whose wife declares strike action and moves out.
