Wartime cabaret at New Mills Festival

On Thursday September 18, the award-winning writer and performer brings to New Mills her idiosyncratic take on the Great War, as part of the New Mills Festival.

Hartshorne returns to Spring Bank Arts with ‘When The Band Begins To Play, a wartime cabaret mix of humour and horror which opened at the Buxton Festival Fringe in July.

Accompanying her will be musician Peter Dobson on piano and guitar.
