Book sale. A giant booksale and coffee morning will be held at Dronfield’s Civic Hall, 10am to 12 noon. The event will include home-made cakes, Traidcraft stall (Christmas cards and gifts) and tombola. Proceeds to Christian Aid. Donations of soft back and children’s books may be brought from 9am on the morning of sale.

Giant sale. At Alfreton Wesley Church, Ellesmere Avenue, Alfreton, 10am to 12 noon. Items on sale include fancy and household goods, toys, clothes, cakes, books, toiletries, china, glassware, bric-a-brac and small items of furniture.
