Whatstandwell Festival is ready to rock in its 12th year

Midsummer music and family fun comes to mid-Derbyshire.

The twelfth annual Whatstandwell Festival will be held at Hankin Farm on Saturday, June 20, starting at 5pm and running through until 11pm.

Live music will come from rock band Parasight, soul outfit Jamie Joseph Band and indie group Flat 24/7, among others.

Bands will play in a barn on the farm and there will be a barbecue, children’s games and activities in a large field outside.

A licensed bar will serve locally brewed traditional ales as well as farmhouse cider, lager, wines, snacks and soft drinks.

Entry to the festival costs £5. Proceeds to worthy causes and charities.

Camping is available for a small additional fee.
