County council is top 100 employer

Derbyshire County Council has been named as one of the top 100 employers in the country for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.

National campaign group Stonewall ranked the council 74 out of 376 public and private sector entrants.

The Matlock–based authority employs 36,000 staff and is ranked as the fourth best county council employer and one of only 18 local authorities to make the list this year.
