Facelift for Buxton store
Buxton’s Scrivener’s Bookshop is getting a facelift thanks to a heritage grant of almost £10,000 from High Peak Borough Council.
The grants are to renovate and restore shop fronts and return them to their original style. “Scrivener’s hasn’t actually changed much over the years, but the roof and frontage are being repaired and repainted – and we are thrilled,” said manager Miranda Midlane.
