Shoe shop closes after 18 years
A shop where generations of Dales residents bought their shoes is due to close at the end of the month.
Broughton Shoe Warehouse, in Crown Square, Matlock, is to close after the company that owns it, Broughton Shoes Limited, ceases trading.
The shop opened in Matlock since 1995. Owner James Broughton said between four and five people were employed there.
