Success for bus firm

A bus company is celebrating after winning big at an award ceremony.

Trentbarton took home four awards at the 2012 UK Bus Awards.

Go–getter Tom Morgan was named Young Manager of the Year, while the company’s rapid 1 service won the award for Making Buses a Better Choice.

Allan Gilmour won Top National Driver while fellow driver Elaine Allitt was highly commended.

Trentbarton also won the Marketing Excellence award for the MANGO campaign.

John Owen, UK Bus Awards chairman, said: “Our aim is to recognise and reward projects and organisations that are really pushing the boundaries in terms of innovation, marketing and technology.”
