Chesterfield at low risk of local coronavirus outbreak according to Public Health England

Data from Public Health England which documents the number of positive Covid-19 cases, shows Chesterfield has had no local outbreak of the virus.

The interactive map reveals the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in regions across the country from the week ending July 19, which were reported to Public Health England by July 22.

In Chesterfield, there are no wards with a high number of Covid-19 cases according to the most recent data, which implies the risk of a local coronavirus outbreak remains low.

Neighbourhoods within the town all have either zero or a maximum of two positive cases if any based on the number of virus cases recorded between July 13 to July 19.

This mirrors findings from between July 6 to July 12, which also showed that no Chesterfield ward had more than two confirmed infections.

Nearby in Rotherham, six wards have reported a combined total of at least 34 active Covid-19 cases.
