They will be supported by workers from Casa who will help with duties such as marshalling.
Joe Cattee, director of family-owned Peak Pharmacy – which is part of PCT Healthcare – said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for community pharmacy to once again show another way in which it supports patients nationwide.

“It therefore made sense that we should be actively involved in the national Covid -19 vaccination effort.
“We’re thrilled to be coming together with another family-owned local business to start vaccinating the people of Derbyshire.
“I want to thank all our staff within Peak Pharmacy who have made this a reality – and continued to selflessly go around their duties supporting the community through these telling times.

“Lots of my staff will be on hand to help with things such as marshalling.
“The more vaccination centres we can have in Chesterfield, the better – and the quicker we can get back to living our lives again.
“We can’t wait to get going.”
