No coronavirus deaths at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in 10 days

No further patients have died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital after testing positive for Covid-19, according to figures released this afternoon.

A total of 129 people have sadly died with coronavirus at the Royal – but none in the past 10 days.

Government data shows there are now 2,416 confirmed cases of the virus in Derbyshire – 1,786 in Derbyshire county and 630 in Derby city.

In total, 42,461 people have died with coronavirus in hospitals, care homes and the wider community across the UK.
