No further Covid-19 deaths reported at Chesterfield Royal Hospital today as 108 die in England hospitals

No further patients died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital in the last 24 hours after testing positive for Covid-19 as the total for England continues on a falling trend.

NHS England has announced 108 new deaths of people who tested positive for Covid-19, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 26,722.

Of the 108 new deaths announced on Monday:

- 13 occurred on May 31

- 40 occurred on May 30

- 16 occurred on May 29

The figures also show 24 of the new deaths took place between May 3 and May 28, 11 occurred in April, and the remaining four deaths took place in March with the earliest on March 19.

Patients were aged between 29 and 99 years old. 16 of the 108 patients (aged between 48 and 94) had no known underlying health condition.
