Eckington classic car show set to be held online this year

Due to the covid-19 pandemic, a popular classic car and bike show will be held online this year –but is set to return as normal in 2021.

The Eckington Virtual Classic Car and Bike Show, organised by Chesterfield Rotary, is set for the same date, on Wednesday, June 10, via social media, such as Facebook or Instagram.

For the price of a small donation, 'exhibitors' will be able to submit photos and short videos of their pride and joy for uploading onto the social media pages of the Eckington Classic Car and Bike Show, and 'visitors' will also get the chance to donate and vote for their favourite entry.

All money raised will go to Ashgate Hospicecare, Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice, The Elm Foundation (support for those affected by domestic abuse), and Weston Park Cancer Charity.
