This old photograph shows an old Sunday school annual prize giving and is thought to have been taken around 1950.
It belongs to Brenda Land of Pingle Lane Belper, who is pictured on the far left as a youngster, when she was known as Brenda Williams.
She is holding a copy of The Stirling annual.
She had written on the reverse that it was the forerunner of the Church of Memorial Chapel on Matlock’s Steep Turnpike, which at that time regularly met in the St John’s Ambulance hot just off Edge Road.
