one can be a bit tricky.

However, the Pavilion Arts Centre’s presentation of the family musical How The Koala Learnt To Hug means that the joy of koalas can come to everyone.

With heartwarming outback characters and a clever mixture of live action puppetry and animatronics the show is charming entertainment for the whole family.

Characters include a wonderful wizard, a grumpy koala and a pair of picnic-loving beavers.

Great stories, singalong songs and superb games feature in this charming tale which highlights the magic of family and the importance of a nice warm hug!

Having garnered multiple five star reviews five years ago How the Koala Learnt to Hug looks set to charm a whole new generation of theatre goers during this tour.

The show is based on the title story from How The Koala Learnt To Hug and Other Australian Fairytales, a beautiful collection of ten tales by popular children’s author Steven Lee.

As an extra treat author Steven will be in the foyer after the performance to sign copies of the original book.
