The production team is looking for performers with great stage presence and comic timing. A willingness to learn how to tap is a must. All are welcome – whether you have had previous stage experience or not.

Stepping Out is a high energy, heartfelt comedy play about a professional dancer who runs a tap dancing class in a dingy church hall. Her students are seven women and one man, all of different ages, backgrounds and characters. Their teacher mediates through all their ups and downs and with hard work from all, transforms them into confident people and triumphant tappers.

If you can’t make it to the get-together and would like further information, call 01298 25750 or email [email protected].

If treading the boards is not for you, why not join the volunteers who run the back stage technical crews or front of house team at the Art Theatre? All profits from ticket sales go back into the upkeep of this theatre. To find out more, go to the website - www.arttheatre.co.uk
