On their website, The Sandwich Chefs said: “Food waste should be vastly reduced; this is achieved by pre-ordering your food and having a relationship with your provider that allows them to provide you with the food you want.

"We want to know , for instance, whether you like grated cheese or slabs of cheese.

"Do you like a drizzle of ketchup or a monsoon?

"What does salad mean to you?

"Lettuce, cucumber and tomato or is this just plain boring?

“In providing you with the food you really want and being able to plan this we are able to pass cost savings on and you are rewarded for pre-ordering or another way of looking at it is the people who buy on impulse are charged a premium.

"We think this makes perfect sense.

"Food mileage should be reduced by sourcing from and local producers and suppliers where possible and local artisan food manufacturers can have their creativity and food exposed to the widest audience possible.

“Our goal is to change the way you feel about having your meals at work; even if the new normal means that you might be working from home.

"The experience should be an enjoyable, great tasting and value for money meal that keeps you coming back for more.”
