New menu success at revamped pub

The Rising Sun, in Middleton, has enjoyed a succesful opening since the transformation.

New licensees, Stephen Merrick and Laura Clarke, say additional seating and a new menu offering have been key.

“Since we opened, we have been really busy and the food has really taken off. We have received lots of complements about the new menu and we plan to develop the food offers going forward,” Laura added.

“The best thing about the investment has been the customer reaction - they like the fact that the drinkers and the diners have been catered for. Everyone is really pleased with the pub’s new look and likes the fact that the investment has exposed its character and original features, giving it a warm and cosy feel.”
