Stamp duty warning

WOULD-BE home-owners could make hefty savings on the price of their dream property if they act quickly.

Stamp duty is currently suspended for first-time buyers purchasing properties below £250,000.

But from March 24, the one per cent tax is being reintroduced on all homes costing between £125,000 and £250,000.
