Hungarian guitarists' rare concert in Derbyshire
World-renowned Hungarian guitar duo Peter and Koltan Katona are to make a rare appearance in Derbyshire.
The musicians have won more than ten international prizes at major guitar competitions and have given recitals in leading concert venues throughout the world. In 2009 they performed live to half a million people in arenas across Europe as the soloists in the ‘Night of the Proms’.
They play at the Medway Centre, Bakewell, on Saturday, April 1, where music lovers can expect to hear items from their vast repertoire which includes Baroque, Spanish and Flamenco as well as arrangements of popular music.
