Dressed to impress, members of a local theatrical group can be seen here glammed up for a night treading the boards.

Beeley Village Hall was the setting in 1974 for a production of the ever popular children’s classic pantomime Cinderella.

The play tells the fairy tale story of a young princess treated cruelly by her wicked step sisters.

Shown in extreme left of the picture is the star Lesley Whetton wearing a dazzling princess outfit for her leading role.

The photograph also shows her co stars Marlene Gilbert, Herbert Parker, Bob Cullimore, Heather Gilbert, Bernard Goodwin, Frank Robinson and Eddie Pratt.
