Life through the eyes of a Hounslow girl at Derby Theatre
n As part of the Black Theatre Live, Derby Theatre is presenting The Diary of a Hounslow Girl, written by, and starring, Ambreen Razia.
From traditional Pakistani weddings to fights on the night bus this is a funny, bold, provocative play, told through the eyes of a 16 year-old girl, highlighting the challenges of being brought up as a young woman from a traditional Muslim family in modern London.
The play is at Derby on Friday, June 17 and Saturday, June 18 at 8pm both nights.
