Matlock Food & Drink Festival stirs up smiles over baking hot weekend

The Matlock Food and Drink Festival returned to a sun-baked Hall Leys Park for the Bank Holiday weekend, with another sumptuous menu.

Many of the region’s finest artisan producers had stalls at the event, alongside a packed line-up of entertainment.
A spokesman for organisers Edge Events said: “It has been incredible. A huge thank you to everyone who came down and joined in, we absolutely loved having you all.
“Also a big shout out to every single company who made it happen from staging, production, security, ground staff, traders, and musicians we really couldn’t have done it without you.”
Visitor Patty Backler said: “We had a fantastic time with all the family. What a brilliant event. We really enjoyed it.”
