Military tattoo in Buxton

Buxton Military Tattoo is marching into town for its seventh year, providing awesome music, a fantastic spectacle and great entertainment.

The Devonshire Dome will host the event on Saturday, July 2, with performances at 2pm and 6.30pm.

Regular and reservist bands will be in the 200-strong cast.

Heading the line-up is The Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines which enjoys a reputation as one of the top military bands in the United Kingdom.

Supporting The Royal Marines will be The Royal Artillery Band and the nation’s reservists are represented by The Nottinghamshire Band of The Royal Engineers.

Pipes and Drums of The Scottish Gunners (19 Regiment Royal Artillery) will be making their first appearance at Buxton and promise to provide an exciting display.

Cadets are represented by 2517 (Buxton) Squadron RAF; the air cadets will also present a new display by their corps of drums.

Performances will include a massed bands finale.
