The Spotlight Comedy Club marks its 12th anniversary with a show at Chesterfield’s Winding Wheel opn Thursday, January 28, at 8pm.

Club founder and compere Anthony J. Brown said: “Our headliner Vikki Stone has been adroitly described as ‘Bette Midler for the Adele generation’ with her hilariously barbed piano songs that have featured on The John Bishop Show and This Morning.

“Lanky Leeds lad Rob Mulholland is two metres-plus of wonderfully witty anecdotal mirth and Howard Walker was recently crowned Comedy Cellar Best New Yorkshire Act.”

Treats in the year ahead will include Phoenix Nights star Justin Moorhouse, the legendary Charlie Chuck and Bethany Black who played 474 in Dr Who.
