Musical take on Bard's romantic comedy
A high octane, musical version of Shakespeare's battle of the sexes, Much Ado About Nothing, will be perfomed by innovative theatre company Oddsocks.
The production will be staged at Markeaton Park’s craft village, Derby, from July 26 to 28. Performances are at 7.30pm.
Young lovers Hero and Claudio, who are on the verge of matrimony, plot to get Benedick and Beatrice to wed too. Songs such as Single Ladies, True Colours, Creep, Tainted Love and Holding out for a Hero will be woven into the story.
