New comedy revue tours to Bakewell, Ashover and Youlgrave

Derbyshire based Interesting Theatre Company will be performing their new comedy revue '˜A Bit Sketchy' this December.

The show is billed as ‘a revue, with comedy, that tours (a bit)’

There’ll be a variety of classic, well-loved sketches alongside some new, original material written by the company.

Plus there’ll be live music from the award winning, up and coming jazz and soul singer, Roisin Meleady.

Andre Dennis, the company’s artistic director, said: “If you like Monty Python or The Two Ronnies or any of the classic sketch shows, you’ll like this.

“After our hugely successful production ‘A Servant to Two Masters’ in July, we thought we’d try something a little different and came up with this touring comedy show idea. We cover such subjects as obsession, lust, stupidity and criminality and there’s even talk of having a raffle.”

Interesting Theatre Company was set up in 2014 by two friends and are always on the lookout for new people.

This show will be their fifth production.

A Bit Sketchy is on at Bakewell Town Hall on December 2, Ashover Parish Hall on December 3 and at Youlgrave Village Hall on December 10.
