Derbyshire Times acting editor Nancy Fielder said: “It is fantastic of Bryan to step in and support Ashgate Hospice during the fourth annual Flagg Challenge.

“We are urging as many riders as possible to sign up for the event and what better incentive could there be than to support such a worthy cause while being able to ride with an Olympic champion.”

Entrants who book places now will be armed with GPS maps, sponsor forms, raffle tickets and can be assured of a quick registration before the ride sets off.

The 50 mile route includes Baslow, Ashford-in-the-Water, Shedlon, Flagg, Monyash, Birchover, Stanton, Rowsley, Chatsworth before returning to Ashgate Hospice.
