A musical tale of workers' struggles in the19th century and ensuing '˜outrages' of explosions and murder will be performed next month.

The Stirrings In Sheffield On Saturday Night tells the true story of a trade unionist in Sheffield Grinders’ Union.

Seventeen performers including actors from Derbyshire, will present the work at Sheffield’s Library Theatre from August 2 to 6 at 7.30pm with Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
