Organisers plan to deliver an extraordinary show with ordinary people, through a fun, friendly approach. All choir supporters and patrons, parents - past and present, alumni, friends and audience members are encouraged to take part. No audition necessary. It is hoped that there will be a great mix of talent so that the participants who can will enable the people who can’t.

Rehearsals will be at Whaley Bridge Uniting Church on Wednesday evenings during school term time from 8pm to 9.30pm. There will be two terms of rehearsals, April to July 2016 and September to December 2016, with a rehearsal at the beginning of January 2017 before the performance.

Participants will be asked to commit to a minimum 75% of the rehearsal schedule. Subscriptions to take part will cost £50 per person per school term.

Everyone will need their own vocal score of Messiah.

This is a unique opportunity to join together for an uplifting performance.
