Adult care team praised at social work awards ceremony
A social work team has received national recognition for its support of vulnerable adults by winning a top prize at the prestigious Social Worker of the Year Awards.
Derbyshire County Council’s adult care department was named Employer of the Year during the awards ceremony, which took place at the Lancaster London hotel.
Also celebrating from Derbyshire County Council at the awards ceremony was Ruth Aten–Shearwood, who was named Newly Qualified Children’s Social Worker of the Year.
