Tyre safety will be the hot topic at Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership’s next motorcycle meet in Matlock Bath.
On Sunday 19 August, 200 free tyre pressure checkers will be up for grabs in the Pavillion car park between 1pm and 4pm.
Visitors to the event will also be able to pick up a free copy of TyreSafe’s guide for motorcyclists.
Andy Adlington, project officer for Derby and Derbyshire Road Safety Partnership, said: “Our message to riders is ‘look after your tyres and they will look after you’.
“Visitors to our August motorcycle meet will be able to find out how to keep their tyres in tip top condition.”
At the meet, riders will also be given advice on making sure their wheels are correctly balanced and aligned.
