Appeal over man missing from Wirksworth

Police are searching for Emmerdale actor Trevor Smith who has gone missing from his home in Wirksworth.

Trevor Smith, also known as Trevor Hancock, who went missing from his home in Wirksworth on Monday.

Mr Smith, 42, was reported missing on Monday January 5 at 9.49pm where he was last seen at his address on Bowling Green Lane.

He is described as white, with short, dark hair and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing blue jogging bottoms, a black padded jacket with green parka coat over the top, and a maroon and grey wool hat.

He had plaster casts on both wrists.

Mr Smith may also be known as Trevor Hancock.

A professional actor, he has appeared in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, and a series of other TV shows and short films.

Police are appealing to Mr Smith or anyone who has seen him to contact Buxton Police Station on 101.
