Apply for school place
Parents need to apply by January 15 to get their child’s infant or primary school place for September 2014.
Derbyshire County Council is reminding parents to apply if your child was born between September 1 2009 and August 31 2010.
Applying online is the easiest method. Just visit the school admissions section of our website at www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions. The deadline to submit applications is midnight on January 15 2014. Councillor Jim Coyle, deputy cabinet member for children and young people, said: “Christmas is often a very busy time but it doesn’t take long to apply online.”
