Beavers cook by candlelight
1st Sitwell Beavers Group had a great time last month as they took part in a 30-year challenge sleepover. The Beavers are doing more than 30 challenges throughout the year to celebrate the three decades that the section has been running in the UK. They enjoyed activities including cooking on a candle. Beaver Lucy, 8, is pictured toasting marshmallows over the candle flame.
Beavers is for six to eight-year-olds and meet on Thursday’s from 6pm to 7pm. Cubs is for eight to ten-year-olds and meet on Wednesdays from 6.30pm to 8pm.
Scouts, from ten-years-old to 14 meet on Mondays, from 7pm to 8.30pm.
All sections run during term time.
