Birthday celebrations for community club
A club which offers older people the chance to get out and about and socialise has been celebrating an important anniversary.
Members of Starkholmes and District Thursday Club gathered at Starkholmes Village Hall, in Starkholmes Road, to mark it’s 40th birthday.
The volunteer–run organisation offers people aged over 50 the chance to go on outings, take part in activities or just catch up with friends.
