Birthday expansion

Crocus Homecare, based in Bakewell, not only provides care services in Derbyshire Dales, but has recently expanded into South Sheffield.

The company provides support to help people to continue living in their own homes, including those with dementia or needing End of Life specialist care. Crocus provides care on behalf of Helen’s Trust.

Debbie Crowhurst, Crocus Homecare’s manager said, “The company has grown mainly by word of mouth, as well as our reputation for providing exceptional care.

“It‘s a good example of where some initial funding from the local council helped us off the ground, and this has benefited local people and their often hard pressed families.” She added,

“the intention is to continue to expand, but slowly. The quality we provide is far more important than quantity.”
