Fire fighters believe a blaze in a smoking shelter at a Matlock social club may have been started deliberately.
An investigation has been launched after the fire at Hurst Farm Social Club on Thursday, December 22.
Crews were called on to the building on Hazel Grove at around 3pm.
The smoking shelter next to the club was well alight.
The roof of the club was also damaged as fire fighters battled to get the blaze under control.
A spokesman for Derbyshire fire and rescue service said: “We requested police as believed the fire was malicious ignition.”
