Boat for disabled people

Freemasons have been on hand to launch a new boat designed for disabled people.

Derbyshire Freemasons from Flyfishers’ and St Oswald Lodges in Ashbourne gathered at Carsington Sports and Leisure Water to celebrate the launch of the new wheely boat for the fishery based at Carsington Water.

The Provincial Grand Master of Derbyshire, Graham Rudd D.L. officially launched the Coulam 16 Wheely Boat has been raised by Derbyshire Freemasons, the Leicestershire and Rutland Masons, the Derby Community Foundation and the Wheely Boat Trust, a Registered Charity.

The boat will be in regular and will support the wheely boat provided by the Wheely Boat Trust and Severn Trent Water years ago.
