Books stolen from Hathersage church

Police are appealing for information after several books were stolen from a church in Hathersage.

Offenders entered St Michael’s Church, in Church Bank, Hathersage, and stole around ten tourist books from the church stall inside.

The offence took place sometime between 10am on Friday, November 28, and noon on Tuesday.

All of the books are believed to be marked with the letter ‘H’ or ‘M’.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have any information about the incident or the whereabouts of the books to come forward.
