BREAKING NEWS: Man dies in Slack Hill crash

A man has died following a collision on the A632 at Slack Hill.

The collision, which involved three cars, took place shortly before 1.45pm today (Wednesday, June 12) on the A632 at Slack Hill, near the junction with the B5057.

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance attended.

The driver of one of the cars, a 64-year-old man from Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been told.

Part of the road remains closed while collision investigators carry out initial enquiries. Derbyshire police thank motorists for their patience.
