Breast screening van comes to Ripley
The breast screening van, operated by staff from Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, is currently at
Ripley Community Hospital.
The mobile van aims to make it easier for women to attend, by bringing the vital ervice to their doorstep.
It will be at the hospital in Sandham Lane until June 30.
Women between the ages of 50 and 70, whose birthdays fall between January and April, will automatically be invited. Women over 70, who have not had a mammogram in the last three years, can phone for an appointment on 01332 785336.
Attendance is by appointmernt and full information is provided about what people can expect with the invite.
