thornbridge brewery is raising its glasses to a successful 2011 after expanding its pub estate with three new openings.
Despite the highly-publicised decline of the local pub, the Bakewell-based brewery has opened two establishments in Sheffield and has recorded a 400 per cent increase in turnover in one of them.
The brewery has also purchased the Coach and Horses pub in Dronfield and aims to revamp the establishment for opening in 2012.
Simon Webster, Thornbridge’s Chief operating Officer, said: “Running a brewery and pubs is hard work in difficult economic times.
“We have a simple formula with a focus on quality products and service.”
