A pair of French restaurants are offering parents the chance to eat out for less with free children’s meals.
Le Mistral Bistros in Wirksworth and Bakewell are allowing children to eat for free on a school night.
The restaurants are offering free main courses for children under 12 years old as part of a family meal, from Mondays to Thursdays between 4pm and 6pm.
Chris Bulaitis, managing director of the Ever So Sensible Group, which operates Le Mistral Bistros, said: “A lot of parents like to treat themselves to a nice meal out, but can’t necessarily justify spending extra on children who have already had a school dinner.
“This way, they need not feel guilty about leaving the kids at home.”
