A Stylish furniture company is undergoing refurbishment to create a new ‘eccentrically British’ look.
Indigo Furniture, in Dale Road, Matlock, is inviting the public to help them celebrate when it reopens on October 13 and 14.
The new look showroom will feature a reclaimed oak floor, an original Georgian telephone box and decadent crystal chandeliers.
Under the guiding hand of Indigo’s Creative Director, Abigail List, the showroom will be re-worked under the theme of Indigo Furniture’s ethos to be ‘eccentrically British’.
Abigail List, creative director, said: “We take pride in our Peak District location and enjoy visitors from all over the country who come to furnish their homes with quality handmade furniture and enjoy some Derbyshire hospitality.
“The opening weekend will be a celebration of all things Indigo and guests are welcome to join us and enjoy a glass of chilled Prosecco.”
To pre–register for the event, people can visit www.indigofurniture.co.uk and fill in a simple form.
All pre–registered customers will receive a free gift on the day.
The creative team at Indigo are interested in any memories or old photographs Matlock residents may have of the building itself, which was originally a Boots store.
Anyone with pictures or memories to share is asked to drop them into the show room or email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
