Derby South MP Margaret Beckett will be the guest at the Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce’s latest meeting.
The former foreign secretary played a key role in campaigning for Derby trainmaker Bombardier, after it lost out on the £1.6bn Thameslink contract last summer.
The event is the latest in a programme of business briefings, aimed at bringing local politicians and the business community together.
Chamber chief executive George Cowcher, said: “The chamber looks forward to this event, for what is bound to be a lively and informative discussion.
It takes place at Mackney Photography at Darley Abbey Mills, between noon and 1.30pm tomorrow.
